Everyone loves a good deal! But here are some ways to spend Black Friday with family that don’t include shopping:
1. Decorate for Christmas
Get the kids involved in hanging tree ornaments or lights on the bushes outside.
2. Holiday baking
Kids love to help, so include them in the baking of cookies and let them decorate their own.
3. Play outside
If the weather is nice, get outside and go for a family walk or hike. A park or playground is also just as fun.
4. Have a movie marathon at home
Have each kid pick their favorite movie, then curl up on the couch for some quality snuggle time.
5. Arts & Crafts
Set up a kids table for drawing, coloring, play-doh, you name it! Maybe even handmade cards for family members for the holidays.
6. Volunteer your time
Volunteer at a local soup kitchen, pick up some gifts for families in need, or donate needed items to local food cupboards.
7. Take family photos
What better time to get those holiday cards done then by taking your annual family photo!
8. Board games galore
Everyone picks their favorite family board game to play – our favorites are Sneaky, Snacky Squirrels and Sequence for Kids!
