Jan 6, 2020 | Meet A Mom
We are thrilled to announce our first Meet-A-Mom spotlight of 2020! Is anyone still getting used to saying that? Meet Raleigh mom Roshni Pattath – mom of two, software engineer, and owner of Fune Toys. Fune Toys creates handmade activity books and mats for kids of all ages. Be sure to check out their website and all of their beautiful creations!
Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I am originally from Kerala, India and I have been in North Carolina since August 2011.
Children and Ages?
A 5 year old son and a 3 year old daughter. They taught me so much about life and brought out the best in me.
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I have been training myself to do pull-ups and I am nowhere close to the finish line!
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
My very supportive husband and a hands-on doting father to our kids. My parents and in-laws who travelled a long way to help us raise our babies for the first 1 year. My friends who are like family always there for me.
Favorite things to do with your kids?
Read books, play board games, carpool karaoke.
Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!

Fun-e-toys is my business venture where we sell handmade busy books, lighted felt bookmarks, felt Christmas trees. This has been a creative endeavor of mine where I get to combine my passion of crafting and coding.
I work as a Software Quality Engineer for a tech company in Raleigh and also volunteer for a ChickTechRDU.
What does this community mean to you/How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Through this community, I got to know about the amazing things moms around the area are doing. I find a lot of fun events around the area where we can spend time with our kids. This community has also been an avenue to showcase my creative business.
Creamy Chicken & Cauliflower Rice Casserole
Looking for a kid-friendly, quick and easy meal that contains vegetables? This casserole is so good they won’t even notice there are “hidden” vegetables.
Essential Oils to Get You Through Cold Season
Essential Oils are an amazing resource during the winter months! Oils are able to oxygenize your blood and reach every system in your body within five minutes. They work fast and are a natural way to support your body and protect your health.
Style Reform: Leggings and Beyond
Meet Christy Teloh, the mom-of-two who decided to make the leggings of her dreams—and we are as big of fans of them as she is.
